I’m Dieter. A Belgian corporate brand manager turned traveler and nursing student. After a pretty heavy experience in my family, I decided to quit my job, leave my family and friends behind, and travel to the other side of the world (for me being Australia) without a set return date. It was the scariest but most satisfying experience of my life.
About loscopo
Loscopo is actually two words, and they in turn are short for an entire expression: Lo scopo è essere felice. That’s Italian for The goal is to be happy. No more explanation needed, right?

Apart from a great year, the trip to Australia also left me with an online blog. Started as a way of keeping my family and friends informed while at the same time providing me with an opportunity to share my pictures, after 3 years it has grown a little. The core idea remains the same, but since I took over full control of the website’s layout and design, it might turn into something more yet… Who knows…Â
